Shared housing services in Hammond, Indiana from Affordable Living Company are built around one idea: everyone deserves a safe, stable place to live, regardless of what brought them to us.
We support elderly residents who want to live independently while still having access to community and connection, veterans transitioning to civilian life who need a stable base to rebuild from, and seniors looking for affordable housing that doesn’t sacrifice safety or dignity.
For people facing sudden housing loss, we offer emergency housing — a safe, immediate option when a natural disaster, eviction, or other crisis leaves someone without anywhere to go. We also work with homeless adults who need more than just a bed for the night, and with domestic violence survivors who need a secure, compassionate space to heal and regain independence.
Our re-entry housing helps people transitioning out of incarceration reintegrate with dignity and structure, while our rooms for traveling medical professionals and college students offer flexible, furnished housing for anyone who needs a home base without a long-term commitment. And for anyone simply transitioning between homes, we provide a stable bridge during that in-between period.
